The NBA 2019-2020 season has been on hold for months now, thanks to the COVID-19 virus. In fact, we’d be well into the playoffs by now.
The delay hasn’t forced officials to cancel the season just yet. Rumors have circled, in the past few days, that the NBA wants to finish the season in some format. This would signicantly delay the NBA 2020-2021 season and they’ve targeted kicking off the next season in December, rather than fall.
With revenues currently at $0, we could see some interesting changes next year. As of right now, it sounds like all considerations are still on the table.
